Garmin GPS V Download 1. Getting to the Waypoint List Power up the GPS unit and press a few times until the Main Menu appears. Highlight the Find menu option and press . In the Find menu, highlight Waypoints if it isn’t already. Press Enter, and choose the By Name option. Press Enter. This screen allows you to search for a specific waypoint by name using the onscreen keyboard. Use the keypad to select the W and press enter. This will display the waypoints with a name starting with W. You may bypass this step by pressing . This closes the onscreen keyboard and allows you to scroll through the waypoint list using the keypad. 1
