Check the water level occasionally OR cook 9 min at high pressure in a pressure cooker OR put in a slow cooker on medium and cook 4 – 8 hours If you don’t want all the bean cooking liquid, freeze it for use in soup stock, or sauce; feed it to your garden, your plants, or your pets
